Quality Control & Inspection in China

Our experienced inspectors conduct on-site quality checks at Chinese factories on your behalf, so you know exactly what you're shipping before it leaves China.

Four Types of Inspection

🏭

Factory Audit

Pre-order evaluation of production capacity, quality systems, certifications, labor conditions, and financial stability.

🔍

Pre-Production Inspection

Verify raw materials, components, and factory setup match your specifications before production begins.

⚡

During-Production (DUPRO)

In-line inspection at 30–40% production completion to catch defects early while rework is still practical.

✅

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

Final AQL sampling inspection on finished goods before loading. The most common inspection type.

How AQL Inspection Works

All pre-shipment inspections follow AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) standards per ISO 2859-1. The inspector randomly samples a statistically valid portion of your production run and classifies defects into three tiers:

Defect ClassDefinitionStandard AQL Limit
CriticalSafety hazard or regulatory non-compliance0 (zero tolerance)
MajorFunctional defect affecting product use2.5%
MinorCosmetic issue that does not affect function4.0%

If defect rates exceed the AQL limits, we reject the shipment and work with the factory to rework or replace defective units before re-inspection.

What the Inspection Report Includes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be present during the inspection?
No. Our inspector attends on your behalf. You receive the full report with photos and video within 24 hours. You can request a live video call during inspection for additional visibility.
What happens if the shipment fails inspection?
We immediately notify you with full details of the failures. We then negotiate with the factory for rework, replacement, or price reduction. The shipment is not approved until you are satisfied with the resolution.
Can you inspect machinery and industrial equipment?
Yes. We have experience inspecting corrugated production lines, packaging machinery, and other industrial equipment. These inspections are more detailed and may require 2–3 man-days.
How quickly can you schedule an inspection?
We typically schedule inspections within 2–5 business days of your request, depending on factory location and inspector availability.
